Thanks Brian - managed to get one and the shower worked really well until I snapped the connection on the vehicle side any ideas where to get that replacement by any chance ?

Hi TheCookies, did the connector you linked before fit?
I've just done the same to my van washing down bikes.

I eventually spent some time tracking down the correct part to replace the in-line valved connector for the shower/hose outlet. The ones previously posted from RS were close but not correct. As ever the part is hard to come by (~1month delivery as not held in stock). I found it at:

It’s good to find this old thread as I recently managed to snap the shower connector in the van - frustrating! Has anyone else done this and replaced the connector? It’s not obvious to me how to remove the panel to put a new part in place … or which new part - is it the RS part quoted? The other one flagged is now discontinued. Replies welcomed.

I bought the Westfalia shower attachment a couple of years ago, it comes with a spray head holder that afixes to the rear window by means of suction to enable one to shower hands free.
Great piece of kit imo

Ik heb net een V220D Marco Polo in ontvangst genomen en ben nog steeds aan het ontdekken wat erop zit en hoe hij werkt. Zoals ik al eerder heb gepost, ging ik ervan uit dat een topmatras standaard was, maar dat is blijkbaar niet het geval. Ik ging er ook van uit dat, aangezien de aansluiting voor de achterklepdouche aanwezig is, er een doucheslang en -kop in de kledingkast of achterkast zou zitten, zoals ik bij een paar demonstratiemodellen heb gezien. Nogmaals, het staat niet in de huidige brochure vermeld als standaarduitrusting of als optie. Het heeft geen zin om contact op te nemen met de leverende dealer, want die lijkt vrijwel niets van de MP te weten!

Kan iemand mij uitleggen of er een doucheslang bij moet? Zo niet, zijn er dan generieke slangen die wel passen, aangezien ik de prijs van Westfalia-accessoires niet zo prettig vind?
