Night Heater

Some time next year I am going to be brave and spend the night in the MP. ? Now do I hook up as a trial to the mains in my garage with an electric heater plugged into the socket, or going forward invest into a night heater, whatever or however that works. Please advise me. Have a look at one of these, I have a similar one but of this make, A diesel night heater, runs for me at about 17/18 enough to keep the children off and no condensation Really works well (in the UK- West Country)
