Activating Digital Extras

Just wondering if anyone has had any issues accessing Digital Extras in the Mercedes Me app or the app displaying what appears to be contradictory information at different levels around Digital Extras related to the core V class 2019 vehicle.
I have attached some images that illustrate the problem.
I should add that we have owned the vehicle since new and successfully used these in the past - particularly remotely initiating heating - but haven’t used them (or the vehicle!) much in the last few years.

Its the 3G switch off that has restricted the extras you can download. Anything 2G still works, so traffic information can still be bought, but I doubt your maps are up to date, and this costs about £200+ I think. Very annoying for such a new vehicle to not be able to use the features that it was sold on.

Yes after the 3G switch off remote locking and remote find my vehicle tracker no longer worked sadly. If anyone has a fix or finds a way let me know :)

I've bought a tracker, added carplay (gets some DAB channels) and have to live without remote locking/pre-warming.

Does this also mean that the European breakdown service and location that I have through my service agreement no longer works? It’s also a pain not having remote locking now

Thanks for the replies. This possibility had crossed my mind although it is odd that the vehicle is still able to share tyre pressure, odometer and fluid level data with the app (although this could be exchanged when in close proximity to the vehicle) and that the SOS function appears to initiate a call suggesting a GSM chip still active (although I didn’t follow this through all the way!). Chat GPT is ambivalent as to which generation of Hermes module that was fitted to the vehicle.
