Apple CarPlay retro fit?

Please can I ask if any one has had CarPlay retrofitted to their MarcoPolo? I have a 2018 version which would benefit from updating from the current system. Any recommendations for unit or fitting providers?

I am about to do same on my 2019 marco. I am looking at MBCoders who are based both in England and Scotland https://mbcoders.co.uk/.
Their offer is a linux screen with Car Play installed £299 using all the standard features you currently have including rearview camera.

There are a couple of threads on here on this, some good options in there with locations for fitting and costs. Mine uses the same physical screen and can toggle between the radio/old nav etc and carplay, works well (camera comes up automatically but the heating information doesnt''t) but costs more than the one above.

Had it done in mine from previous owner. Only thing is that sound has a long delay so calling is no longer an option with the CarPlay - anyone solved this?

I had ours updated , still have the original screen and the hearing display works and calling still works. I remember posting about it in the Facebook group I think. Had it done in a place in Nottingham that someone else recommended. It’s wasn’t cheap I don’t think but it works really well.

I have recently fitted one of these and the heating info pops up at the bottom for a few seconds when you adjust the controls. There are quite a few options in the settings. Mine is MBUX though.

The sound delay is Bluetooth latency, it can be solved by using an external USB soundcard if you are 2021 MY MBUX or the 3.5mm input if yours is the earlier system.
