Hi everyone, does anybody know where the hydraulic reservoir is in Marco Polo electric roof models, 2017 onwards? Is there any documentation available that describes how to access this and top it up?

I have opened up the rear panels on drivers side UK (right hand side) and it doesn’t seem to be there.

If anyone could help steer me, I’d be really grateful.

I always assumed it was just in the struts that attach the roof to the car.

Hello there. From 2017 onwards the powered roof was by electric stepper type motors (one per side). Each motor has its own position sensor. There are no hydraulics

My roof, for the first time, wouldn't open, kept bleeping and stopping. I suspected it was the battery, so i kept it on mains charge for 24 hours (it was about 50% charged on the display) and it was fine. Probably indicating that after 7 years it might need changing.

Yes although I’ve no symptoms as yet I’m thinking a pre-emptive purchase before the summer season gets into full swing.
