What is this pipe for?

Hi all,

My 2017 MP V250 had an EML and AdBlue countdown, so I took it to my local Mercedes dealership. They advised that the issue was caused by rodents or foxes chewing through the wire to the AdBlue injector valve.

Luckily, they were able to salvage the wire without needing to replace any parts. The van came back this afternoon, and I was able to see how exposed the wire was. I also noticed two rubber tubes dangling right next to the repaired AdBlue injector wiring. One of the tubes already had the end chewed off.

There’s no electrical wiring inside, so I assume they’re either air or fluid lines. I'm not sure if the tubes are supposed to be dangling like that, or if the rodents/foxes chewed through and broke them in two.

Can anyone please check and confirm? The location is just under the driver’s seat. See attached picture for reference.

Thanks.

I got confirmations from both a helpful forum member and my local dealership that these are drain pipes....have to say that I am a bit surprised there are so many wires and pipes exposed to all sorts of attacks/damages...
