Water tank ckeaning

How do people clean out the drinking water tank and has anyone had a high pitched beep occurring randomly from dashboard

I bought this from Amazon works very well.

I clean once a year in Spring, open the water tank lid from the wardrobe, follow the instruction, a bottle is probably enough for 4 uses.
Also drain the water if not in use.

Thanks for the help I can't open the tank. It's impossibly stiff. Do I need to open a tap or anything first, is it under pressure?. Also could I put cleaning solution in from the outside filler cap?

Yes it is stiff the first time, no hidden locks.
Don’t have to, you can use the filler.
