Water pump replacement

I think I need to replace the water pump to get the sink tap working again and the shower attachment. It looks like the replacement part is a Comet VIP 10,

• 12V DC
• 12 litres/min
• 0.5 bar

1. I can't locate this exact part online. Can anyone recommend a replacement.
2. Do you need to cut the wires on the existing pump to replace or is there a way to disconnect the existing wires on the pump?
3. I read a previous thread about descaling the existing pump has anyone had success with this before I buy another pump?

Replaced mine back in June with one from Amazon. Not sure how to post a link but a search for “Comet 12V Submersible Water Pump VIP 16 LPM” should find it. Higher rated flow rate than the factory part but dimensionally identical and it works fine. Cheap and readily available.
I cut the cable of the old pump outside the tank as it was easier than getting the connectors out of the block and then feeding them through the grommet in the tank top.
