Thinking of getting a thule awning for my mp. Will I be able to still use my drive away awning or will I need to remove awning cassette first

You should be able to use. It attaches on to the attached awning

The awning cassette also has a keder channel so you attach the driveaway to the awning rather than the roof rail

You'll need to buy it from MB because the roof fixings are not available elsewhere, unless you get them fabricated yourself.
