Repair tear in pop up

I have heard of a product called tear-aid to repair a tear in pop up roof has anyone used this or any other recommendations. This has occurred on first proper trip in our MP we are not happy when we take so much care. There are some protruding screws thst we feel are the culprit but Mercedes say it is user error. Any advice on repair please if we are unsuccessful with Mercedes

When we damaged a caravan awning we had it repaired at a local sail maker. You would never have known it was there after.
Maybe worth googling to see if you have one nearby.

Thank you, however a lot has transpired today resulting in Mercedes agreeing to replace the bellows the damage having been caused by a protruding screw fixing that was inhibiting the roof raising freely. So must now restract my unkind thoughts on Mercedes and appreciate the support our local Mercedes garage has given us in agreeing to this replacement
