Remove awning - how?

I want to remove this awning. Anyone knows what I need to do and if I need something to cover the bracket with or similar??

theres a drilled hole not sure where front or back or maybe 2 .. ask mercedes what they do maybe,,

may a ask why you want it removed ? i decided on not getting it due to wind noise, and its not really rain proof at the door...

much rather get a lighter and waterproof one in germany.... one just has to go there to get it installed.

Bought the car second hand and it was allready there... With my previous VW Cali i never used it, so just thought lets remove it and store it, if things change i could allways remount it.

But i would love to know how to do it. Asking Mercedes is way to expansive

well asking what impact removing ut will have will yeild the answer to the holes at zero cost,
however i would just remove the awning.... and leave the mounts ,,,maybe try and remove them and see whats the holes are like,,,, if any maybe its only the front one or the back one... D it might be mercedes has the plugs to glue in the holes i dunno.. D

Yeah maybe that the way to go it says in the manuel that it is removable anyways. Just not how
