Sea Barn Farm overlooking Chesil Beach is a good spot and has some amazing sunsets if you catch the weather right.

Fantastic new thread, thinking to go to lake district next week, any good site suggestions would be greatly appreciated:Thanks:

I went to the C&CC Windermere site 2 weeks ago and it was bigger than I thought but very pleasant and clean toilets / shower block. Had a mini-shop, bar, recreation area and take-away food. It's about 20 minutes from Ambleside and we went on a 10-mile walk taking in Loughrigg Fell and the old mining cave at Rydal Water. Although C&CC it is open to non-members.

Skelworth Fold in Ambleside - great site.

Conceige Camping, Ratham Estate, West Sussex - once you’ve been here you are not going to want to stay anywhere else.

Eye Kettleby Lakes, jusr outside Melton Mobray - another great site

Lebberston Touring Park, between Filey and Scarborough - very relaxing

Hi all, We are just about to set off on a Six week trip to Spain does anyone have experience of such a trip and can share any recommendations for sites or areas worth exploring, We will be visiting Madrid and Seville, the remainder will probably be along Mediterranean coast.

Does anyone know of any (wild) camping in the uk where we can have a fire and be a bit less connected?

The sort of thing where the children can be a little more earthy and experience the wonders of a woodland or some other environment.
