Pop up roof with a load

Hi, I have 2016 MP with manual pop up roof. It can hold 50kg closed, but its not ment to be opened.
Anyway, an empty box with roofracks let say 25kg seems to be ok...has anyone tryed it, can I damage
something ? Thanks

Skibox with 4 ski sets, was quite heavy, I tried to lift manualy handling roof and probably I would managed anyway I emptied the box finaly to avoid stressing the mechanism and potential demage.

Thank You, I'll do the same probably.I also think of some way to support the roof to protect lifting mechaninism..and also to make sure I dont get stucked while sleeping if the valve will collapse

Also when raising or lowering the roof I detach the bed frame so the roof mechanism has less load.
Just my thing, then I manually raise or lower and attach the bed clips as it is quite heavy.
