MP Sliding Window

Hi, my sliding window by cooker does not lock when in closed position.
It is possible to open when vehicle is locked by pushing glass from outside !
Is this the norm ?

No, not the norm. The push button latch should spring into place. Is there some debris blocking the hole in the track?

Thanks, no blockage but I think track needs slight repositioning as closure hole doesn't quite line up with catch pin
