Matress for bottom bed

Hi all,

Do many people have matresses/toppers for the bottom bed? At the moment I am using a Tempur mattress topper, but as comfortable as it is, and it is super comfortable, it is absolutely massive! When it's rolled up, it is the full width of the bed/luggage shelf and about 20" in diameter. The thing is a beast!

Does anyone have any experience of others? I've been looking at the MB-specific Outwell inflatable mattresses, but I'm not sure how small they reduce to when deflated. My aim this year is to maximise storage and reduce excess items/bulk.

When folded it matches the footprint of the luggage shelf, it just reduces the height to the ceiling by a few inches. We put our stuff on top of it when travelling and protect it with a towel / throw
