Hi, We just bought a 2019 Marco Polo, but there is no 'Marco Polo' logo on the rear. I was thinking of buying chrome adhesive letters. Can anyone suggest quality chrome letters or knows if a Mercedes dealership would order them.

Rather than buy random adhesive letters, why not just pop into your local MB dealer and order the real thing?Hi, We just bought a 2019 Marco Polo, but there is no 'Marco Polo' logo on the rear. Thanks, but I was just asking for advice and if anyone had ordered the ‘real thing’Rather than buy random adhesive letters, why not just pop into your local MB dealer and order the real thing?
Oh, and welcome to the forum by the way![]()
I've not ordered myself but I would definitely go for OEM from your dealer rather than non-MB if it were mineThanks, but I was just asking for advice and if anyone had ordered the ‘real thing’
Thank you. We didn’t buy our Marco Polo from a MB Dealer. So when I called a local MB dealer, they weren’t very helpful. I can’t find anything from MB to order online.I've not ordered myself but I would definitely go for OEM from your dealer rather than non-MB if it were mine
I am guessing that they were deliberately removed as a 'debadge' option similar to other MB and other cars. No idea why. Maybe the original owner just plain didn't like them. Good point about the sticker; that could indicate a resprayed tailgateWelcome - Unhelpful dealers are common unfortunately. Wonder what happened to the letters on a 1 yr old vehicle? Does it have the round silver gas system sticker which is usually by the numberplate? Agree that its best to get the real thing, phone around other locations and get them posted.
Why would you want to debadge it? .... or are you just jokingI will be asking for mine to be debadged when it arrives. If you can wait until next June I’ll mail u a bag of letters![]()
I was going to say the same thing!I will be asking for mine to be debadged when it arrives. If you can wait until next June I’ll mail u a bag of letters![]()
Nope. And I’ll remove the Westfalia stickers from the roof too.Why would you want to debadge it? .... or are you just joking
I’m surprised Westfalia want to put their name on the roof bearing in mid the problems they are having.Nope. And I’ll remove the Westfalia stickers from the roof too.
My transfer on my replacement roof has definitely been applied over the lacquer. It would be easy to removeI’m surprised Westfalia want to put their name on the roof bearing in mid the problems they are having.
The transfer may be under the lacquer— good luck in getting it off. I suppose we are lucky it‘s not the large star Westfalia put on their own campers.
Hi I removed the badges from my old MP because I had some interest from the local thieves , but sold it because of a few issues meanly the roof , reg ended in OKO and I am sure it went to ScotlandHi, We just bought a 2019 Marco Polo, but there is no 'Marco Polo' logo on the rear. Hi, I think that could be the one we bought in Darlington. Can you tell me what issues you had? We haven’t found any problems yet.Hi I removed the badges from my old MP because I had some interest from the local thieves , but sold it because of a few issues meanly the roof , reg ended in OKO and I am sure it went to Scotland
The vehicle needs a new roof if you contact Mercedes of Teesside they have one ready to fit for you the other problems where leisure battery would never fully charge and the other was rear seat but think that sorted nowHi, I think that could be the one we bought in Darlington. Hi, thanks for letting us know. Mercedes in Hamilton are repairing the rear seat and fitting the new Marco Polo badge in January. The leisure battery seems to fully charge ok. We can't see anything wrong with the roof, (although may need to get ladders to look at it properly) but it opens and closes fine. Can you tell me what the problem was.The vehicle needs a new roof if you contact Mercedes of Teesside they have one ready to fit for you the other problems where leisure battery would never fully charge and the other was rear seat but think that sorted now
