Having only recently bought a pre-owned Marco Polo, it has been a pleasure so far with the two fun breaks we have taken. Many thanks. We have driven over 1,500 miles on two decent trips. As I wrote on another thread, there are Mercedes issues & ‘van’ conversion issues. This week I’m getting the new stop - start battery fitted when I hope my guys can get the engine to carry out that function & maybe get a hard push on the brake when stationary to stop the gearbox from moving / creeping the van?
It’s a really good van that naturally had issues at 9yrs old. The tracing of some wiring faults looks like being unpredictable, when I can find someone to do it.
Interested to know if anyone has remapped a 2.2d 160bhp engine (2017)? It’s actually a great engine but a tad more torque & power might make it just a bit more fluent overall. We cruise at 60-65 mph on motorways & similar on the best A roads. We’re in no real hurry.
