Extension lead

Me again, so sorry, whilst i was on hook up in my garage, I plugged in a 2pin to 3pin UK adaptor. Is it also possible to run a 4way extension lead off. ? So let's say a toaster, electric kettle, an electric night heater etc etc. No my van does not have a night heater. Thank you.

This depends on the amp rating of the hookup. At a campsite if the rating is 16A then at 240V (the UK standard) the maximum power you can draw is 3,840 Watts. Check the power of your devices and if you plan to use them concurrently then add their power outputs together and if you exceed this limit you are likely to trip the EHU circuit. If you are at a campsite with a different amp rating then you can calculate the power limit by multiply voltage (volts) x current (amps), so 10A would limit you to 2,400 W.

Many thanks Roy.
