MB quoted about £800 for two years, one visit it MB for whatever issue would almost certainly cover that, I know it’s a gamble but it seems to make sense.. the Vito is a cracking vehicle with decades of history, it’s packed with technology, nothing ground breaking, all tried and tested.. but things do go wrong and MB car dealers know very little about the vehicle and it seems we will be expected to finance their learning.
I’m seriously considering cutting my losses and signing up because this kind of money could be blown in no time diagnosing even the slightest issue, say a dropping tailgate or one of the multitude of issues documented on this site.
I cannot see how MB cannot cover the conversion, the vehicle is retailed on the forecourt as a Production MB, the camping conversion is done by an Authorised supplier, just like say Bosch who may well supply electrical systems, or Harman Kardon or whoever supplies MB with products and components. The car is just a collection of parts made by third party companies.
