Disable front passenger side airbag?

Hi there,
I recently learned that it’s not possible to disable the front passenger airbag.
Is this a general thing on Marco Polo or something that applies only to certain models?

I was excepting this to be a standard feature amd easy to do.

Hi Anton, I believe it is automatic (assuming your vehicle is fitted with the auto deactivation system)....

Got it, that seems to answer my question; it's an optional add-on that's not available on my car. :/

It does seem odd though that disabling a passenger airbag is optional doesn't it

Yes it does. I actually didn’t believe my repair shop so I asked another for a second opinion but they said the same thing.
