Diesel in water tank

How can I clean the water tank, the dealer having filled it with diesel?

I’d be making the dealer fit a new water tank. Would you really want to drink anything from it again?

New tank. What kind of dealer makes that mistake? A drug dealer? Jeesh.
I think on the sister vw site there is some examples of people lending their vehicles out and their “friends” put diesel in the water tanks. The consensus is as we say, new water tank.
