Dash Cam

Has anyone had a dash cam fitted, front and rear. Getting one fitted within the next couple of weeks. Been told front wiring is easy but rear wiring is tricky but doable. Any tips/advice welcome. TIA

I installed my dashcam 2 years ago, but I did'nt indicate where I pushed the cables ...

I set a viofo 329s front back and interior cam running off the leisure battery with cutoff switch with low voltage. runs great and easy to hide the wires.

I have yet to install a Viofo A229 in my MP - am curious - how did you route the rear camera cable and did you use the Viofo hard-wiring kit?

just tuck the wires in with a trim tool, it goes under the rubber joints and the headliner. the rear was a bit tricky but you can route it with a bit of time. Sadly can't show any pictures as after 700km (van was brand new) the particle filter failed and seems like it is not available from mercedes for a while, so sitting a the dealer.......

and yes, i have the hard wire kit with the highest setting voltage for cutoff going to aux battery for power and ground, but had to wire the ignition wire to the main fuse box to get the parking mode to work (wanted power from aux battery so works as planned now)
