Hi
I am seeking help on the type of adapter needed for the 907 bottle.
Just taken delivery of new van. It is a goose chase to get the gas safely plumbed in.
The regulator is a GOK model. It’s made in Germany. Southampton Calor stock them ( they’re v expensive comparatively). They tell me that the Gok regulator needs a Gok adapter to go on a 907 bottle because otherwise there will not be a proper seal. Apparently, there should be a washer on the GOK adapter which the regulator but can bite into.
It seems obtuse the vehicle is not supplied with a GOK adapter to complete the seal of the system and to enable the purchaser ifs 50-60k van to just drop a bottle in , tighten it and get off camping.
Can anyone help ?
Have other purchasers all had an adapter made by GOK supplied with the vehicle ?
Alternatively, is there a safe third party adapter which people have had to use?
Cannot quite Credit the colossal inconvenience of sorting out the correct adapter.
Any observations or pictures of a GOK adapter in a907 bottle most welcome.
Darrel
