One of the benefits of a “great white” over an MP sized camper is having a garage to secure and hide bikes when they are not in use.

With e- bikes costing many thousands of pounds do members have any security advice to prevent them going missing.

Not really practical advice as I expect you already use the usual deterrents like locking as best you can, but I've had VanBitz Strikeback/Growler fitted to two vans now, it has an external protection loop, two fly leads you plug into a socket and fix around a bike or any other item, if it's broken the alarm is activated.

It's another deterrent and I'm not sure how many people take any notice of alarms these days, having said that Growler has 5 sirens and it is LOUD and very uncomfortable to be near when activated.

All deterrents are good, a decent chain looped through the frames and around your carrier is the obvious one, we carry 4 bikes and have several locks that we use when riding into town so when the bikes are on the rack we simply include those and loop bikes together leaving a nest of tangled bikes and carrier. I though about getting a cover that hide what’s under there, undecided if this just creates a more interesting target or not...
