12v trickle charging

Hello, I would like to set up a system of trickle charging of the starter battery but accessed from an interior. Unfortunately there is no easy access to the battery (+) connector (without removing the battery). Does anyone have any idea or experience whether it is possible to use a free fuse connector for low current charging in the fuse box in the leg compartment of the passenger seat ? There is voltage equal to the starter battery voltage so it is connected and very easily accessible from here but I dont know if the charging current applied here could go in reverse direction through some electronics and cause damage. Or is there any (+) connector safely and easily accessed from the interior?
Thank you

I leave the leisure battery plugged in to the normal socket and this automatically keeps the main battery trickle charged as well.

Thats the lucky issue for a classical MP. My situation is different. I dont have the external power socket as this was not installed in Horizon MP as a standard. Moreover I need solution for situations with no access to the power. I will use either fotovoltaic power or transportable battery eg Ecoflow and I dont want to connect cables provisionally to starting jumpers in the engine compartment from outside..

u can just pull out the battery it wont do any damage to the car at all.... just take of the front pole first.. D reegarding charging it buy a victron smart DC DC charger and and 2 fused 30amp cables premade, and ure good to go,,,, the smart version has bluetooth...i use it for powering the mbux system with the aux battery power,,, D for long music nights ,, D

Thank you. Its nice to read some easy solution for the issue I have:) I was just afraid to remove any screws because its a new car under warranty and I have no experience eg to screw them correctly back with correct force.. But I think it should be easy. And can you explain me which way the cables can go through? To hide them nicely and easy to install? Do you have any photos eg? I dont understand why mercedes does not have such an easy solution or preparation for a camper. A kind of camping switch that would offer auxiliary power for mbux during a stay. Its a camper van that cannot be used for camping for more than two days in standard configuration.. crazy stuff

well u got to drill some holes for the cables i think ... u could get another cap and remove it all when u go to service,,,, or find some part of the metal casing under the seat ,,,i just made the solution and just clicked the plastic cover in half the holes,,, D just get the 18amp 12v charger its solid for keeping the mbux alive,, ure idea with the eco flow is good .... so u can charge it from a 220 source,,,, but i recommend changing the aux ,,,later,,, to a lifepo 200a or maybe 150... D that req some more new chargers though .... they got some at stjernehotel in germany online, a new charger is needed .. D but for now ur warranty prevents that,,, it might be possible to enter all this like u stated through the fuse boxes ,,, but u want an expert for that i think ... D
