Flimsy power and water flap comes open when driving ...

Hello all. I'm new to this forum having just bought a 2018 Marco Polo. I love it, but it's annoying me that for such a premium vehicle the flap that covers the power and water is so flimsy and pops open when driving. Are there any fixes for this?

If you search EHU water filler cover you will find a discussion. They sometimes need a firm press but definitely a weak point. Self adhesive magnetic tape can help if you don’t want to fork out for a replacement.

Thanks Epigram. The idea of taking it back to MB and have it replaced under warranty seems to be the best idea. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
