hey Steve, Its the town I live in, Lee on the Solent in Hampshire. The beach is obv very stony, so it stops the masses coming in. It still gets busy, but not Durdle Door, or Bournemouth ..

Ahh - I didn't recognise. I used to go to LoS quite a bit for a motorbike run but didn't recognise the car park

its right up the top end by the red shack on the beach. The carpark has had a bit of a makeover since the new power cable from France came in through it
