First trip out in our recently acquired MP. Just a weekend away at the MK2 Golf OC National Meet hence the pick.
Very much a newbie to camping so lots to learn and more to buy…

Hardly see anyone using the MP chairs! We tend to use them as spares or to dry stuff on. I've only sold two cars for more than I paid for them in nearly 40 years; a Land Rover and a 4 door base model Mk2 Golf, H reg in white in the late 90's.

They aren’t the MP chairs, didn’t get any with the van which is no big drama I probably would have ditched them anyway

Had MK2 Golfs for longer than I’d care to mention. That one really only comes out for the summer shows, it’s got a 2.0 16v ABF engine in it along with other choice bits so it’s a good bit of fun. Put up with circa 100 laps of Curborough Sprint Track over the weekend in fairness to it

Another great weekend away over the bank holiday. And the van is now sporting its new replacement roof no more blisters for now…..

Verdon Gorge - Sep 22. Although we did cheat and stayed in accommodation as it had been booked before a) owning the van & b) before Covid. Van was great for driving down though very comfy we did North Wales to Verdon Gorge in a one’er - circa 1000 miles and 20 hours.
