We just got a Zonesleep downstairs topper - made of an open weave aerated fabric (springy) and a top cool feel layer that makes it breathable, quite light and relatively thin. (I saw a MB original topper in the dealer and it seemed to have a similar core fabric, but softer top surface on the ZS).
We supplied measurements to Zonesleep and have the first Demo topper to get us both started and they will be making them soon. For reference, they make for the VW Cali and it's on that site (along with other sizes - eg upstairs) if you want the details.
Size is c.200cm long plus or minus, 108cm wide and about 3.5cm thick, and the rear driver side tapers to fit the back of the van.
Tried it last weekend - really good. Hot weekend, stayed cool.
