Tyre tracking and service

Hi All,
Advice needed. I just put Pirelli all weather tyres 245/zr 45 18 on Marco. Local tyre guy said he was unable to do tracking as a piece of kit needed that only can be got at MB main dealer. Any one have similar problem ? Also how often does Marco need service? Will it show up on dash when service required. There’s now 30k miles on clock, have it a year and was serviced before we took ownership , we’ve done 10 k miles last year.

Hi - I've had the same response in the past from Kwik Fit re tracking. With servicing, there is an indicator that tells you when it needs a service, its also on the app if you are connected, and is a countdown in miles or days

Try and find someone with a Hunter Wheel Alignment system. A lot of the tyre places do not have this equipment. My local tyre fitter said he could not did it but the place with the Hunter system could. I think if you go onto the Hunter website they have a search facility to find your local one.
