SIDE DOOR MALFUNCTIONING

Hi everyone,
My Side door is acting up. If I try to open it via the key or center console you can hear it try to open but the door closes up again. If I pull the handle from the outside the automatic function works perfectly fine.
Operating the door via the buttons once open is perfectly fine as long as its not shut. And then back to it not opening unless manually pull on the handle to enable the automatic function.

Hopefully it's a simple fix.

Hi Mohammed - That sounds like the door is sticking in the rail and/or the locks are a little stiff - worth a careful clean of the rails and rollers with a micro-fibre cloth to remove dust/dirt. I'm not sure what lubricant is used (ask the dealer or a local Mercedes specialist) but at a guess, it will be either a PTFE or a silicone lubricant - a light coating and then exercising the door on the rail and the locks should resolve it.
