Sat Nav keeps dropping connection with card

Hi all I have a 2018 Marco Polo campervan and the SAT NAV keeps dropping and saying that a card is not recognised. Then it starts up again on its own sometimes immediately and sometimes 5 minutes. Very annoying as it happens when I am at a critical part of navigating. I have taken out the card twice and then put back in but to no avail, It happens intermittently but will is happening every week. Can anyone help on how to rectify this

Hi I had a similar problem with the command… possibly corrupt card and needs replacement.. not by main dealer !! Mine 2018 amg

From a technical point of view the card is similar to any computer storage device. If you plug it into a Windows based computer, take a note of the drive letter assigned to it e.g. "E', and follow this advice you may resolve the issue:

Open the Command Prompt window as an Administrator, type chkdsk [drive letter]: /f and press the Enter key.
Replace "[drive letter]" with the assigned driver letter of your SD card.
The "/f" is the parameter to fix any errors it finds on the SD card.


The data (maps) will be safe and any errors will be fixable.
