Safety Recall: Front passenger airbag flap.

Just going through my deep litter of mail and found this which arrived a few weeks ago. Interestingly, it talks about replacing the instrument panel.
Anyone else received the recall?

It would seem car- recalls.co.uk is a more up to date site than the gov.uk one.

I think if I were in a crash severe enough to set of the airbags., I would be more worried about the contents of the cutlery drawer and the porta potti than the airbag flap!

Somewhat academic because the MP is SORNed at the moment. See “Anyone been stuck in mud or snow?” and it’s not worth going through that again until it stops raining!

Yes we to have received a letter from Mercedes for this recall and is booked in to be checked, I have just checked the gov.uk site and shows nothing which is strange?

Did you resolve this issue? If you did, do you know what the update was? I phoned to book mine in and was told it had an outstanding recall for the control panel - but I have not received any communication prior to my call.

My service experience with Mercedes is worse than poor in relation to their ability to fix faults first time that I have brought to their attention.
On this they said they fixed it but I have no way of knowing and I have to believe them.
I won’t know until the airbag goes off.
