Pop up roof canvas

Hi - after some advice. We think that the Mercedes technician may have damaged the pop up roof when the van was in for the mattress safety recall.
There appears to be a small pinch in the fabric and from the outside it looks like the grey outer layer has been damaged.
We had used the van the weekend before the recall and there were no marks and now there appears to be one.
We are still under warranty but has anyone had an issue with the fabric? Does anyone know how to repair the fabric? Is it a big job to replace the whole canvas?

If you think that Mercedes have damaged your pop up then I would tell them so , we had a flaw in our bellows from new and had then replaced under warranty it 4 days,

Just checking - did you have the whole fabric of the pop up replaced?
