The NOX sensor upstream of the catalytic converter has gone on my low mileage 2019 Marco Polo. The main dealer I perhaps unwisely got to check the diagnostics has quoted me a ridiculous sum to replace it, with part, labour and diagnostic totalling a bit in excess of £900.
I’m just taking this hit in for what I understand is a ‘known fault’ arising from poor quality sensors fitted that model year, and wondering what lessons there are to learn. Any advice welcome from fellow travellers
