Mp horizon - can you spec 2 extra seats?

Hi

As per title really, can an mp horizon be specified or retrofitted with 2 extra seats making it a 7 seater? I don’t mind having to take them out when not being used but need 7 quite regularly.

Yes, You can add 2 single seats into MP Horizon. The car should be certified as 7 seater from factory even in 5 seats configuration.

thanks - talking to the local dealer they could only add a single extra seat so presumably you jut have to order and extra of the same part number (or are they handed).

do they spin like captains chairs/the vw or have to reverse on the rails?

Both seats are identical, it doens’t count right or left. Seat doesn’t spin, You have to take it out from rails and turn it for opposite position. Beside the seats You have to order also mounting brakets into rails.

You probably only need one set of mounting brackets - my horizon already has one set.

im not sure how you fit them since I looked at removing mine so the rear seat could move all the way forward and all the way back, I think you need to remove the entire rail system and slide them out or in the rear. I didn’t get that far because I cannot remove the rear seat on my own. Is very very heavy.

I’m sure merc make a 2 seat unit for the v-class. That might be something to consider.

Ahh so they slide along the rails rather than clip in/out vw style? Less useful :-(

Single seats can be clip in/out easily, also 3 seat bench just considering weight, all works same as in VW just single seat doesn’t spin and You have to clip out turn it and clip in for opposite position

Yes, the 3 seats bench can be removed out of the car, be aware it is heavy
