Missing underbody protection panel?

Something I have been meaning to ask for a while. Most of the underside of the MP seems to be well protected with panels except this area near the sliding door.
IMO exposing electrical connectors on the underside directly to the elements doesn’t seem good practice because they could be snagged when driving through a field of long grass. Are others the same or am I missing an underbody protection panel?

Mine is the same, I don't think anything is missing.

Everything seems well tucked up and out of the way so I don't really see it as problem.
