Media system ,sat nav cameras down.

Today l drove only a few miles and parked for aprox 30 minutes on returning to vehicle everything on media system was down ,including cameras. After parking again about 5 miles away , left vehicle for about 2 hours ,Then on starting everything working.
This happened once before last summer , but as today it all worked the next day.
l now wonder if there is any software update required
