Thanks again to those who recommended dealers they had good experiences at. I tried a few and found it depended on who I spoke to and if they were interested in “doing a deal or not”.
My experiences varied from outright shocking and didn’t even call back with a price to fabulous service (and price) from John Twigg at Bolton Mercedes Benz, owned by Marshalls where I bought my Marco Polo from.
It was worth the train ticket from Wiltshire to Bolton for the service and saving. Make sure you speak to John and I’m happy for you to mention “Gary from Wiltshire” recommended him.
