Map update

I have just updated my nav to the latest version.
I went online to get new maps and ended up with a complete new system.
It did take around 10 hours on win10!

I was hoping someone else would ask this question. How does one do that, can you point me in the right direction please? Also could you tell me what date/release number the current version is? Thanks.

I googled it and was delighted to find the official Garmin site:
https://shop.mercedes-benz.com/dcp/static/garmin/en/garmin-map-pilot.html
Map is 2017/18 software version 9 I think.
You download and install the map pilot software and insert your SD card from your Polo. Then follow the instructions and wait!
Took ages but worked first time.

Thanks for that, pleased that I asked. I have the command online system which doesn't use the Garmin map pilot.

I believe that map updates for the first 3 years are included when you have COMAND
