Hi everyone, I am new to camping. Last week I spent a night down in Hastings. I setup my awning without realising that I should have tied it down. As a result the wind destroyed it. Trying to remove it off my marco polo was very difficult and I am into DIY. I can tell you from experience that if you do not know what you are doing you will find it difficult. I have today booked my van in for a replacement. Total cost £1050. The original fitting brackets were destroyed by the wind. If anyone is looking for parts, get in touch.
