After rebuilding my 2015 V-Class into a camper and driving it for 3 years I decided to upgrade to Marco Polo. After a long search in November 2024 I finally got my car. It is 2019 Marco polo 250d in white metallic with AMG package and some nice extras. Since the car is pretty well equipped I didn't have a chance to upgrade or retro-fit many things, however here are some upgrades I have done:
- Solar panel 200W and MPPT controller from Victron
- LiFePo Battery and DC-DC converter from Victron
- 19mm insulation on large panels
- Sound-deadening under dashboard - I find the 250d much nosier than the 200d I hade before, despite that it is basically the same engine
- Additional LED strip for kitchen cell
- wooden pull-out bed for trips when rear bench is not needed
- facelifted front grill
