Heater confusion

So please can someone clarify what these are? Desil heater? Or auxillery heater? Are the 2 not the same?

having trawled the manuals and spec sheet it is not clear.

Hi, try the search function, there is loads on here about this as it was the most confusing element of ordering a few years ago. The fob you have is for the engine water system heater that has a limited run time, and can also be controlled on the dashboard or from the Me app (i use it when its frosty or cold). The independent diesel heater has a cheap looking plastic fob.
