I wholly recommend this site near Aviemore in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
Only downside is the Midge but if you check the Midge forecast and come either out of midge season or suitably prepared then it’s a piece of heaven on earth.
Mountains, forests, beach and
decent camp facilities, well managed and a pub/ restaurant on site too.
