The best technique is to thrown it unceremoniously in the bin and purchase something that works!

We have brandrup isolite inside but many other excellent solutions exist.

The front window curtain is a ridiculously stupid solution compared to the VW.

I would bin it and buy a set of Brandrup Isolite which are expensive but excellent.
Have sussed it out but agree will take a look at what you recommend. You may also be able to help me. Looking around the site some are on inside and some outside, are the outside thermal protectors or to reflect heat or both? What would you recommend we need? Thank you

I struggled too until I read the manual and following this it is easy.
1. Fold the sun visors down
2. Find the two suction cups on the bottom of the blind and attach these to the two bottom corners of the front screen.
3. Loop the 2 left or right elastic loops over the end of the sunvisor
4. Put the blind around the mirror securing with the velcro
5. Repeat 3 for the other visor
6. Attach suction caps to top of front driver and passenger windows.
Follow this and it takes no more than a minute or 2

Yay it is up thank you so much

Outside window covers may be good in very cold weather but I have never used them, inside ones are easy to remove when you wake without having to go outside.
The Brandrup Isolite inside are really good, you stick on Velcro strips to relevant points and they are then always ready for the screens to be put into place. The Front screen is also good as a heat reflector in summer.

The Thule awning set is also good, sides and front provide a nice cosy awning but you do have to take it down to be on the move.
