euro adaptor

I understand the mp comes with a european plug socket for the electrics. We have a small travel kettle which we would like to use whilst on hook up. Is it ok just to use a convertor plug, like the ones you use when you travel abroad?

Thanks Roy - I did see this thread but it didn’t answer my question. For those of you who already have your mps , how do you use the euro socket?

I'm probably barking mad but could it be that it is upside down? I noticed one side of the plug socket is spring loaded and moves away to allow the UK earth pin access so fitting the UK plug upside down works a treat. I however am going to follow the advice in the other thread and get a UK socket fitted. Any qualified electrician advice would be much appreciated.

This is my preference too. It would be an easy job to do but might invalidate the warentee if there are any electrical problems, even if a qualified electrician does the job.
I think you might be right re the upside down bit of your post
