Drive away awning attached to wind out awning?

Hi all

I've searched long and hard for an answer to this but can't seem to find anything, apologies if I've missed it.

My question has 2 parts:

A) is it possible to attach a drive away awning to the wind out awning (thule omnistor 4900)? It looks to me like there is a c rail on the flap of the wind out which would be used for this purpose.

B) if so then what size kador strip do I need? I measure the c rail as 8mm at the opening, but all I can find suggests that 6mm or 4mm are the options

FWIW I have a vango galli which has 6mm strip, so understand I need driveway kit incorporating figure 8 and a kador strip.

OK I think I've answered my own question! In case anyone else is curious...

A) yes

B) 6mm

A drill bit has helped me establish the internal dimensions. I was puzzled as some websites advertise the 6/4mm ad specifically for fiamma/omnistor, and the 6/6mm as 'standard'

I'll get the 6/6mm kit and advise if it's a disaster!

6mm for Kador strip into the MB fitted wind out awning and then whatever your driveaway takes. We have an Outdoor Revolution driveaway awning and use the OR driveaway kit (about £25) which includes figure of 8s https://www.outdoor-revolution.com/drive-away-kits.html. Easy to use.
