Hi has anyone else damaged the leather on the door armrests by not rotating the captains chairs fully? If so what did you do about it other than shout at the kids!

I've got a mark on the console where i didn't adjust during rotation, once bitten though. Got it off to a fine art now rotating both seats. Hope your kids have recovered!

I have put a couple of lengths of black electrical tape on the console for that very reason. I also turn the seats with the door open. However its been so long I have almost forgotten the technique for not getting them stuck somewhere :(

How frustrating.
Try leather repair glue. Search on Ebay.
In the past I have used vinyl repair glue (from Halfords) to butt join tears end-on in vinyl upholstery by applying the glue sparingly with a wooden orange/cocktail stick to the ends of the tear and carefully pushing them back into place with a couple of wooden coffee stirrers. Hold with masking tape if necessary. When dry gently scrape off any tape and excess glue with a scalpel/craft knife. The joint is surprisingly strong with vinyl / leatherette.
I have even managed to repair a soft top this way after it had been slashed by hooligans.
With patience you should be able to achieve the same with leather glue and hopefully get the damage looking much less obvious..
Failing that, a specialist upholsterer and a dent in the credit card.
