We've got our second crack in a wheel, 19 inch AMG alloy, this time rear nearside. We had a crack last year in the front nearside which was welded by a specialist and seems OK. Getting the current crack fixed on Monday. Considering I haven't had steel wheels on a car since the early 90's, and was a high mileage company car driver from then until 2020, I've never had a crack. I've had blowouts, a double blow out once when hitting a shredded lorry tyre, and must have hit 1000's of pot holes, but never a crack in the alloy.
