Cool box on or off?

Just purchased my 2019 MP and very happy with it. I will be driving it throughout the winter as opposed to sleeping in it. Would you recommend that I leave the coolbox (fridge) on? I have a solar panel on the roof and the person I bought from said it kept chilled because of this. Any thoughts?

The solar panel would allow the leisure battery to maintain some charge which the fridge would run off. I personally don't see the point though of having the fridge on and not using it or am I missing something?
